Orbitel Email Conversion To ensure mail is converted adequately, you must choose between the three available options. Each option will need to be performed as instructed to ensure a smooth conversion process . OPTION 1 ♦ A mail c lient can be configured with POP settings. This will ensure all email is downloaded from the mail server. Contacts and calendars will need to be im ported into the mail client. To ensure G-MAIL communicates with the settings in the client, IMAP will need to be enabled on the Gmail Platform. This setup will synchronize all account information between the mail client and the server. Once successfully logged in, the new server will capture th e password and authenticate it against G-Mail. From there, the server will automatically IMAP the data. Contacts will need to be imported.
